2025 Summer Camp Aka Maka!
Camp Aka Maka will begin on June 9 and continue for seven weeks, ending with the week of July 21st. Our summer camp gives kids time to enjoy being kids—playing outside, getting messy, and having fun with friends! Our camp staff includes Fairville staff members, returning Camp Aka Maka counselors, college and high school students. To register, click here.

Camp will run Monday-Friday (no partial weeks) from 9am-12pm. 30 minutes of before/after care is available for an additional fee.
Registration is open to children ages 3-7 (must be toilet trained).
Almost all of the morning will be spent enjoying the beautiful outdoors, but campers have access to air conditioned spaces.
Most days include opportunities for sprinkler play, and we always end the morning with Fairville’s famous popsicles!
Lead counselors include Fairville teachers and experienced Camp Aka Maka Counselors.
Fees: $260/week; $230 for second child in family. ($155 for the 3-day week 6/30-7/2 $135 for siblings). No registration fee in summer 2025. Before care (8:30-9:00) or after care (12:00-12:30) on a weekly basis: $40 for one or $70 for both.
Early Bird Discount: $15 off each week of camp when you register and pay for camp before May 1st, 2024
2025 camp themes
Week 1 (June 9-13): Down by the Boardwalk: School is out and we are kicking off summer vacation with a trip to the beach! This week we will play classic games like sharks and minnows, beach volleyball, hoop toss, and limbo. A beach trip also wouldn’t be complete without castles in the sand, picnics in the sun, or kites in the sky. If the weather allows, we will also have plenty of water games and pools available to cool off in. So grab your favorite beach towel, lather on some sunscreen, and get ready for a week of fun in the sun!
Week 2 (June 16-20): Messy Art: This is the week to wear clothing that can be covered in paint! Get ready for a colorful week of imaginative play and messy art as we journey to the end of the rainbow! Campers will go on quests through fairytale realms to tame fantastical beasts and rescue damsels in distress. We’ll also create vibrant works of art using the magic of color, texture, and pattern to dive into the world of art and sensory fun! Clean-up is simple with a run through the sprinkler!
Week 3 (June 23-27): Tiny Builders: Little hands and big imaginations will work together to discover how people, animals, and insects build things. Through hands-on outdoor play, campers will dig, stack, weave, and create using natural materials like sticks, mud, leaves, and sand—just like birds building nests, spiders spinning webs, and beavers making dams! Each day will bring new construction challenges, from making tiny houses and insect hotels to crafting mud bricks and building tiny forts. Get ready for a week of building, creating, and imagining in the great outdoors!
Week 4 (June 30-July 2): STEAM. Science, Technology, Art, Engineering, & Math: This week we will spark your child’s imagination as we explore the concepts of STEAM. Campers will have a great time creating and discovering while we engage in daily projects and challenges. From making fizzy art creations and exploring chemical reactions, to building bridges and paths to escape the hot lava, this week will be a hit for all the mad scientists, aspiring engineers, and inventive artists out there! Note: This week we will be splitting up into groups based on age to allow for more age appropriate projects and experiments for campers, making this a great week for our older Fairville alumni!
Week 5 (July 7-11): Forest Friends & Woodland Wonders: Join us for a magical outdoor adventure and discover the animals, trees, and tiny treasures of the woods through hands-on play and exploration. Campers will scurry like squirrels, hoot like owls, and tiptoe like deer as they listen to stories, play movement games, and search for hidden woodland surprises. Maybe we’ll even discover some fairy footprints! This is a week of magic, wonder, adventure, and outdoor fun!
Week 6 (July 14-18): Move Your Body! Wiggle, jump, and groove in our fun-filled Move Your Body week! Kids will enjoy dancing to upbeat music, participating in playful obstacle courses, and engaging in cooperative games. From parachute play and relay races to rhythm games and creative movement challenges, kids will develop coordination, confidence, and teamwork—all while having a blast!
Week 7 (July 21-25): Splish, Splash, Play! On a sunny summer day, it’s so fun to explore the magic of water through sprinklers, bubbles, mist, and splashy games! We’ll pour it, jump in it, paint with it, freeze it! Every day will be full of cool discoveries and giggles as we dive into the many fun and different ways to experience water. Get ready to make a splash!
